Who we are
Antip Marine Surveying is operated by Bulldog Marine Pty Ltd as trustee for the P&P Marine Trust (ABN 68 938 151 052) under the Antip Marine Surveying brand. Marine surveying and engineering services are provided in Perth, Fremantle and Western Australia by arrangement; Antip Engineering is the engineering service brand. This policy explains how we handle information through this website and related service correspondence. We seek to handle information responsibly; whether particular Australian Privacy Principles obligations apply depends on the business and relevant legal requirements.
The ABN is registered to The Trustee for P & P Marine Trust and identifies the trust business. It is not a separate company ABN or ACN for Bulldog Marine Pty Ltd.
What we collect and how
We collect information you supply in the enquiry form: name, email, phone, survey type and vessel location or marina; optional make/model, year, length, vessel type, preferred inspection date, listing URL and message; and your consent to enquiry handling. We may also receive correspondence, survey requirements and vessel or service details that you supply by phone, email or during service arrangements. Please avoid including unnecessary sensitive information or other people’s details unless you are authorised to provide them.
Required fields are marked with an asterisk. Contact details let us respond, and survey type and location help us scope a quote. Other fields are optional. Without the required information and consent we cannot process the online form; you can contact us by phone or email instead.
Browser storage, attribution and technical information
The website uses sessionStorage in your browser to remember your first landing page, an external referrer where available, and campaign parameters from links, including UTM fields and a Google click ID (gclid). This attribution is submitted with your enquiry and stored with it. Session storage also supports the saved-enquiry confirmation page and prevents duplicate measurement events. Readiness checklist answers remain in the current page’s memory and are not saved on our servers.
The enquiry service uses your IP address to create and store a SHA-256 hash for spam prevention and rate limiting. The form record stores the hash, not the raw IP. Normal hosting and server logs may contain IP addresses and other technical metadata, such as request times, browser information or errors.
No Google Analytics, GA4 or Google Tag Manager container is installed. An optional Google Ads measurement tag is available only with your explicit consent, as described in the next section. Session attribution is still collected as described above regardless of that choice.
Optional advertising measurement (Google Ads)
This website offers optional advertising measurement. It is off by default: no Google advertising script loads unless you choose “Accept measurement” in the consent notice. If you accept, the site loads the Google tag (Google Ads tag ID AW-951129200) from Google, and Google may set or read cookies and use ad click identifiers (such as gclid) to connect an ad click with a later enquiry.
Only when an enquiry is successfully saved do we send Google a single conversion event for the “Marine Survey - Quote Enquiry” conversion action, containing a transaction reference (the saved enquiry’s record ID). We do not send Google your name, email, phone number, vessel details, location or message, and we do not use enhanced conversions or customer data matching. The purpose is to measure whether our advertising leads to enquiries; the recipient is Google, which may process information overseas.
Your choice is stored in this browser with the time and notice version, and is not linked to your enquiry. You can change or withdraw it at any time via “Privacy choices” in the footer; rejecting or withdrawing stops future measurement, applies across open tabs, and does not affect submitting an enquiry. Cookies Google has already set may remain until they expire or you delete them in your browser settings, and withdrawing consent does not remove information already collected. Agreeing to enquiry handling in the quote form is not advertising consent, and refusing measurement never affects our response to your enquiry.
Why we use information
We use information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, arrange bookings and surveys, provide agreed services, maintain related records, prevent spam and understand the sources of enquiries. We do not sell personal information. Submitting a quote request does not subscribe you to marketing; any marketing would require separate consent where required.
Providers, email and disclosures
Lovable website infrastructure, its managed cloud database and built-in transactional email service process enquiry information to operate this website and notify us. Enquiry records are not available in a public browser list. Owner notifications go to enquiries@antipeng.com.au, from noreply@notify.antipeng.com.au, with the enquirer’s email as Reply-To. Email providers and our receiving mailbox may retain delivery logs and copies of messages; correspondence you send or receive may also have copies in those systems.
We use providers and authorised people as needed to operate the site and handle services, and may disclose information when required or authorised by law. Some infrastructure, support or email processing may occur overseas. The countries where our providers store or process information, including backups, technical logs and email, are not yet confirmed. We do not represent that all information stays in Australia. We are seeking these details and will update this policy when confirmed. You can contact us about overseas handling before submitting information; agreeing to enquiry handling is not a blanket waiver of any applicable privacy rights.
Security and retention
We use third-party infrastructure and access controls to reduce unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No website or email system can guarantee absolute security. We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for enquiries, services and applicable record-keeping or legal obligations, then seek to delete or de-identify it. Copies in mail systems and provider backups may remain subject to their retention processes.
VesselReady and other external links
VesselReady is a separate, optional product linked from this website. Clicking a link does not automatically transfer your enquiry or checklist answers, create a vessel record or establish an account there. VesselReady, Facebook, Google and other linked services have their own privacy policies, which apply when you visit or use them.
Access, correction and privacy concerns
Ask to access or correct information we hold, or raise a privacy concern, by emailing enquiries@antipeng.com.au or calling 0421 379 257. Tell us what your request relates to without sending unnecessary sensitive documents. We may need to verify your identity before releasing or changing information.
We will consider access or correction requests and respond within a reasonable time, subject to applicable legal requirements. Access may be limited where permitted or required by law, including to protect another person’s privacy. If we cannot provide access or make a requested correction, we will explain why and how you can raise a concern, subject to applicable requirements. Please tell us if information is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete.
We will acknowledge privacy concerns, consider the relevant records and explain our response and any proposed action within a reasonable time. If you remain dissatisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner for guidance on whether it can consider your complaint.
